How to connect
If you don't have the app yet
Tap the venue's Tagnect tag. Your phone opens the App Store or Google Play — install the free Tagnect app, then tap the tag again and follow the instructions. No mobile data? Ask the venue whether it offers its restricted app‑download network.
If you already have the app
Hold your phone near the venue's tag and follow the prompt. The venue's network applies its session and access rules, and you're online.
What to expect
Simple, private, temporary
- No sign‑up formThe Tagnect app doesn't ask for your name, email or phone number to connect.

- Rules set by the venueSession time and access rules are defined by the venue.
- Laptops tooOnce connected, generate a one‑time passcode (OTP) in the app to connect a laptop or any device without NFC.
Privacy in plain language
What happens to your data
Tagnect processes only the technical information needed to grant and manage your Wi‑Fi access. Your device's network identifier (MAC address) is deleted 15 minutes after your session or OTP expires. The venue controls its network and defines the access policies. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
How to request deletion of your data
Guests have no account, and the device identifier is deleted automatically after the session. To ask about or request deletion of any data related to you, email privacy@tagnect.com with the subject “Data deletion”. Full details in the Privacy Policy — Your rights.
