Hotels & hospitality

Guest Wi‑Fi access organized around your property.

Use NFC tags in guest areas or with key‑card materials. Guests use the Tagnect app to request access, while your team manages tags, groups and network policies.

Placement patterns

Where tags work best

🔑

At check‑in

Give guests a Tagnect tag with their key‑card materials and a short instruction card. First‑time users install the app, then tap again.

🛋️

In guest areas

Place tags in lounges, meeting rooms or shared spaces, each with its own group and policy.

💻

Devices without NFC

Once connected, any guest can generate a one‑time passcode (OTP) in the app for a laptop. Managers can also issue OTPs in the Tagnect Manager app or the web console.

Fit the deployment to the network

A deployment review first

Hotel networks vary by property and controller. Session time, time windows and grace periods work in every deployment; bandwidth, quota, VLAN, isolation and device limits follow your controller's specifications.

  • Controller model & firmwareUniFi, Omada, Meraki, MikroTik or OpenWrt.
  • Coverage & guest network designWhich areas and SSIDs the guest access applies to.
  • Support responsibilitiesWho supports guests on site — your team or your MSP.

Plan a property‑level pilot

Share the number of guest areas, tags and network controllers you want to include.
